Learning outcomes and skills
– development and production of a text typeface
 
Course description
The course addresses all steps of manual typeface design. From the first pencilled sketches to the finished typeface, all aspects of conception and implementation – decision making and creative translation – are exercised, tested, re-worked and executed by means of a software program.
 
Course content
Design and production from lowercase to uppercase characters, numerals and punctuation marks for a text typeface in a regular weight.
